Own a Pony Day / Pony Club at The Quantock School Of Riding

The Quantock School of Riding is an accredited Pony Club Centre for children aged 6 years upwards, from beginner to advanced riding abilities. It runs every Saturday and Sunday, throughout the year (and in all weathers – come rain or shine, we always have fun!). The Pony Club is a great way to enable children without their own ponies to experience the responsibility and fun that comes from looking after a pony as well as learning to ride.

Each week you will have a 1 hour riding lesson (which are divided into groups of ability) and learn about horse mastership and stable management. You will also work toward achieving the various Pony Club Tests and Achievement badges.

At the Riding School, we have friendly instructors, kind, gentle ponies and great facilities. You will be taught in a safe environment with fully qualified instructors, making it an inspirational place to learn. We thrive at helping you fulfill your riding ambitions!

We also run competitions in many different disciplines, such as mounted games, show jumping, cross-country, quizzes and dressage as well as other fixtures, such as summer camps, visits to local shows and gymkhanas and parties.

All riders must bring with them a packed lunch and a drink and must wear appropriate clothing suitable for all weather conditions, including suitable footwear (either riding boots or Wellington boots). Hats can be provided and body protectors are available free of charge.

The COST for the day is £35.00. Opening hours are:

Sat 10:30 - 15:30

Sun 09:30 - 14:00

( 1 pm for under 8 yrs on Sundays.)
