At the Quantock School of Riding, we run weekly group riding lessons during term time exclusively for local schools, from primary school ages up to senior/6th form ages, of all riding abilities; from those who have never had any contact with a horse before to those who have been riding regularly. Lessons are split into groups according to the student’s riding abilities.

The team at the Riding School work closely with the schools co-ordinator to devise a suitable programme, tailored to suit the school children’s abilities, the school’s requirements and overall achievements. We have schools attend our equestrian centre for a variety of reasons; from incorporating riding as part of their weekly physical education programme, to giving the school children an opportunity to learn a new skill, to enhancing children’s ‘life enrichments’. Whatever your desires and requirements, we can work with you to achieve these.

All school groups have dedicated fully qualified staff and coaches to ensure the weekly visits run safely and smoothly. It is important to us at the Riding School to provide continuity to our termly group bookings so you will always have the same BHS qualified Instructor or coach who will get to know you and you’re riding abilities and will work with you improving your riding skills and stable management. Residential - Summer camps offered too.   National, International and local schools tailor made to each client.
