Residential Camps

One of the highlights at The Quantock School of Riding is our residential camps! These take place during the summer holidays and are offered to children from 8 years and above. The camps are suitable for all levels of riding abilities from complete beginner to experienced riders. Our residential camps involve ‘sleeping under canvas’ in the orchard, which has access to shower and washroom facilities and includes a varied menu of locally sourced, homemade food for the riders to choose from each day.

Our residential camps are not only fun but gives the children a chance to improve their riding and stable management skills as well as learning new activities over the week. All lessons are taught by fully qualified BHS instructors who offer a full and varied programme throughout the week for the children to work from.

On the last day, we host our finale presentation followed by afternoon tea and cake. This is a chance for parents/organisers/tutors to watch the children receive their achievement certificates and to witness the improvements they have made whilst at our residential camp.

These camps are ideal for residential schools, summer schools, youth clubs, etc. Please do get in contact with us if you would be interested in organising a residential camp at the Centre.

Please note that all our instructors are CRB certified and we follow stringent child protection policies.
